Our Process

  1. Discovery and Insight
    We begin by understanding your users, brand and goals through stakeholder workshops, user interviews and analytics reviews.
    Tools: Hotjar, Google Analytics, heuristic evaluation, content audits
  2. Information Architecture
    We structure content so users can find information intuitively. Using Optimal Workshop’s Treejack, we validate information architecture and navigation with real users.
    Deliverables: sitemap, user journeys, navigation flow
  3. Wireframing and Prototyping
    In Figma, we create low-fidelity wireframes to test structure, then evolve them into interactive prototypes that simulate real interactions.
    Goal: validate layout, hierarchy and flow before visual design
  4. Visual Design and Systemisation
    We define colour palettes, typography, components and motion, all built into scalable design systems. Every element meets WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
    Deliverables: high-fidelity screens, design system library, interaction specs
  5. Accessibility and Inclusivity
    Accessibility is engineered into every design. We combine automated and manual reviews to ensure every experience works for all users.
    Tools: WAVE by WebAIM, Axe, Lighthouse, colour contrast checkers, keyboard navigation testing, screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver)
  6. UX Testing and Optimisation
    Through Hotjar heatmaps, session recordings and user testing, we observe real behaviour and iterate for conversion and engagement.
    Metrics: task completion time, click tracking, drop-off analysis, accessibility score
  7. Developer Collaboration and Handoff
    Designs transition seamlessly to our in-house development team using Figma Dev Mode, asset exports and clear documentation.
    Outcome: precise builds, minimal rework and faster launch
  8. Post Launch Review
    After go-live, we track engagement metrics, user feedback and accessibility health to drive continuous improvement.
