Australian Civil-Military Centre
ACMC’s e-learning initiative allied with OSKY to establish an online learning platform aimed at the public and the department itself.
We’re strong supporters of education and life-long learning experiences, so this project knocked at the right doors. Remember our commitment to open-source platforms? This challenge fit like a glove, because we set ACMC’s Learning Program on Moodle — the #1 open-source learning management system.
This innovative project was born months back, before the globe got hit by the COVID-19 disaster. We can now say, this is another opportunity for nationals to stay connected and straighten their awareness and understanding of Australia’s Military Department.
ACMC needed OSKY to create an educational platform and digitise their teaching material. So we created a learning framework that would provide a personalised, enriching experience for the end-users.
The goal was to develop an interactive learning experience. We took on Moodle to create an educational environment that empowers learning through a powerful set of learner-centered tools.
As part of that, we turned raw, tedious learning materials into infographics, making the learning process easy and enjoyable. Studies show that graphs using visual elements are easier to read and remember, and we knew presenting ideas and concepts succinctly had to be part of the equation.
OSKY enabled The Australian Civil-Military Centre to make a difference through an open and quality learning platform, engaging with their students and placing knowledge at the tip of their fingers. The users can access the courses they enrolled in at any time, anywhere, on any device.
