The Airservices Australia live weather camera is a bespoke custom solution that was tailored to help pilots determine weather conditions across Australia. Sponsored by the Bureau of Meteorology, the cameras help provide valuable up-to-date, live information to air traffic controllers and pilots to help improve safety in Australia’s airspace.
Osky and Airservices underwent a full technical discovery and consultation for the development of the project, and helped integrate the infrastructure and software with the Bureau of Meteorology to ensure the full setup, installation and integration of the cameras
The live weather cameras are developed on the WordPress platform to help assist the organisation in simplicity, control and customisation for their system. Osky also developed the front end web design of the website to accommodate Airservice’s branding and style to ensure the organisation remained consistent.
